Can you “Help BAR Get The Bale Out“? Sadly our “Davy” has decided he no longer wants to lift bales in & out of the haybarn and over & back the fields.
In the past year alone he has lifted approximately 400 round bales into the barn and then all out again as they were needed. At present we have 17 donkeys, 32 horses, 4 pigs, and 5 sheep in our care, all of whom rely on us having a fully functioning tractor.
We are currently being assisted by a very obliging neighbour who puts out 12 bales a week for us. Obviously this is a huge help but it is only a shorterm solution, not to mention there are many other chores to do around an equine rescue that require a fully functioning tractor, so we urgently need a ‘new’ tractor.
It is likely we shall have to run a few different events in order to reach our target, one such effort is to hold a virtual tractor/truck/vintage car run over the next few weeks so keep an eye on our Facebook page for details on that together with other events. In the meantime please donate to and/or share our “Help BAR Get The Bale Out” fundraising appeal.
